Is this a completely online certification?
No. AHA HeartCode combines online learning with a required hands-on skills component. Completing only the online portion does not earn the provider course completion card.
Can I renew through this process?
STAT Certifications is being developed for both initial certifications and renewals. Confirm the appropriate course and any prerequisites with the STAT team before registering.
How long will it take?
Timing varies by course, prior knowledge, and skills-session format. The online portion is self-paced. We do not promise a fixed completion time or waive any required component.
What if I already completed HeartCode online?
Ask the STAT team about skills-session availability and whether your online course completion certificate meets the requirements for the session you need.
When can I register and pay online?
